TMNT Take Over Los Angeles

What a weekend! Over 300 fans and Martial Artists lined up perform at the TMNT Casting Call on Saturday in Hollywood. ATA students were among the performers and traveled from as far as New Jersey to try out for the role of a "Foot Soldier." Next Stop Golden Apple Comics and autograph Signing with TMNT Creator Kevin Eastman. The ATA Team performed what may have been the first in comic store demo right in the middle of the stacks of comic Mr. Burns and team chopped, kicked and flipped for the Turtle Fans.

The TMNT Bus also Traveled to XMA World Headquarters where everyone including Mikey was wowed by the spectacular demos from Mike Chat's crew. Special guests also included Ernie Reyes Jr. plus Matt Mullins and Craig Henningsen from Team Sideswipe. Everyone enjoyed taking part in XMA Fusion classes and checking out the awesome facility. Mikey even ventured out on the Trampoline for some acrobatic fun!

Vegas Baby!!!

We had a Great time in Las Vegas. Don't Worry Mikey didn't Party too much. Except on Saturday at Club Sports where Master Brandon and the ATA Vegas Crew pulled out all the stops to make an awesome event for TMNT and MY KIDZ MATTER over 2,000 families showed up to check out the Party Bus and club sports. The Demo teams were great and once again the 1990 Movie was a hit.

Lets not forget about the great Schools stops we did too. On Thursday over 600 families showed up at Master Inman's Victory ATA Martial Arts. The line to take a picture with Mikey was around the building.

We After School All Stars event was super cool. Mr. Morgan and Mr. Lundt from the Bonanza ATA taught a class to over 250 All Star Kids while Mikey and Mr. Avant did some great demos and kept the crowd going before settling in for PIZZA and a movie.

The bus has one more stop tonight in Vegas at Martin's ATA and then its heading to California to get ready for the Casting Call. So if you have what it takes we'll see you in Hollywood.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, in association with Mirage Studios, 4Kids Entertainment and TMNT Productions, will host an open casting call for martial arts experts to audition for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, hitting theaters in 2011.

While Mikey was driving the Party Bus through Phoenix and meeting fans. Donny and Raph joined in on the festivities of the 40th Anniversary of ATA and World Championships in Little Rock, AR.

We kicked off shell-ebrating by hyping the crowd of thousands at opening ceremonies. We even ran into some of our fellow CW and 4Kids Ent. TV Stars Kamen Rider & Mr. Mike Moh. Check out some of the great photos from the weekend. Donny and Raph had a great time meeting all of their ATA fans from all over the world and learning some new moves from the ATA Masters. Splinter will sure be proud that they are learning new moves and not just partying all summer.

Wow What a Beautiful City! We had a great time visiting all of the ATA schools that joined in on the TMNT Shell-ebration. We had to ditch a few of the extra frozen pizzas we keep on board the bus so we could make it up the huge mountains to Mr. Horn's ATA school. But it all worked out in the end since our friends at California Pizza Kitchen brought over FREE pizza for everyone at Colorado Mills Mall.

TMNT coming to Denver

Denver – the seventh stop on the TMNT Party Bus Tour Across the Country.

The Party Bus (an interactive museum on wheels) will kick off their Denver Shell-ebration alongside the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field as they take on the Pittsburgh Pirates. The TMNT will be outside prior to the first pitch and joining the fans inside during the game.

They will also be showcasing their ninja moves at the Colorado Mills Mall. Attendees can mingle with Michelangelo, and try their best ninja moves alongside Leonardo and The American Taekwondo Association as they execute shell-kicking martial arts demonstrations.

The Party Bus will also be pulling into local Denver ATA Martial Arts schools around the Denver area.

Dallas In Review

Dallas was HOT HOT HOT.... over 100 Degrees in the shade plus crazy humidity!! But that didn't stop us. (Thank you to Ms. Christy Jackson who brought us a tent to stay out of the sun)

We kicked off our weekend in Dallas with a stop by Game Stop Headquarters. We met up with the team from Ubisoft and added the soon to be released Turtles Smash Up Video Game for Wii to the TMNT Party Bus.

Michelangelo Stops at ATA Springfield

We had around 550 guests at our special event. We gave out 600 pieces of pizza, 120 TMNT books, and we said hello to 10 new members to our local ATA family. KOLR 10 TV came out for a quick interview and stayed to shoot footage of the event. The storms held off until the event was over, and everyone had a great time!

Michelangelo was a big hit with the kids and even a bigger hit with all of us who have been watching for the past 25 years.

Dallas Here We Come!!

The Party Bus (an interactive museum on wheels) kicked off its cross-country tour with the official “greening” of the Empire State Building and will be “Shell-ebrating” in Dallas at the City Arts Celebration

Activities for attendees at these stops will include photo opportunities with the Turtles, bus tours, and martial arts demonstrations with the TMNT and The American Taekwondo Association. The Party Bus will also be making stops at ATA Martial Arts schools in Allen, TX (6/11) and Rockwall, TX (6/12).

And, to give back and help spread good cheer, the TMNT, in partnership with Kids Cancer Connection, will pay a visit to the UT Southwestern Medical Center.

St. Louis Science Center

We just wrapped up the weekends events here in St. Louis. Mr. Shank's Chesterfield ATA students were a great help with all of the festivities at the Science Center. Leonardo and Michelangelo were on hand to greet fans and even helped us teach some cool moves to the Girl Scout Troups who were visiting from Illinois. We also took advantage of the new sound system that was recently added to the TMNT party bus for a bit of a dance battle. Leonardo sure knows how to shake his shell and was declared the winner!!

The highlight of the weekend was most definitely getting the opportunity to teach a special private class to our new friend Noah who was introduced to us from the Make A Wish Foundation.

Thanks again St. Louis.... The TMNT Party Bus is off to Springfield, MO and on to Dallas for next weekend's City Arts Festival.

Michelangelo Visit's ATA in Champaign, IL

Greetings from Champaign, Illinois home of Newberry's ATA Black Belt Academy, where we have just experienced a radical TMNT 25th Anniversary Shell-e-bration . We had over 520 students, family members, friends and future students at our school to Shell-e-brate. We started the night off with an introduction to martial arts class where Michaelangelo made a special appearance and broke a board with a 360 degree spinning knifehand strike, COWABUNGA Dude!!

He was so kind take photos with our students and guests including a little boy with leukemia who was so excited to meet his hero. He said he is tough like the turtles when he goes in for his treatments.

Dominos pizza was there and served over 800 pieces of pizza... YES 800!!. The atmosphere was electrifying as we had a Dj playing a mix of his favorite turtle songs while people toured the bus, learned how to break a board, and talked about their favorite TMNT movie. The night was a huge success!!

Wow!! We had a great time in the "Windy City" Navy Pier was a great place for the Turtles and the ATA meet fans! We gave away thousands of TMNT Buttons this weekend and it seemed like everywhere we went in the city they were being proudly displayed by fans of all ages. A big THANK YOU to all of the Instructors and students who attended and performed exciting demos for the crowds. The Team from Kalamazoo Michigan drove over 100 miles and brought a group of over 50 students and their families to meet Mikey and Leo!

MONROE, NJ — Students and instructors of Legends ATA martial arts academy were visited by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on April 29 as a return favor for a demonstration the school performed during the Turtles' 25th anniversary celebration at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 23.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) are continuing their 25th Anniversary “Shell-ebration” in Philadelphia after a successful NY kick-off.

The TMNT Party Bus (an interactive museum on wheels), will be rolling through the “streets of Philadelphia” stopping at locations including the Brave New World Comic Book store, Comcast and a Phillies game (as they battle the Mets).

Pre-game activities include photo opportunities with the Turtles, dancing, and martial arts demonstrations with the TMNT and The American Taekwondo Association.

And, to give back and help spread good cheer, the TMNT, in partnership with Kids Cancer Connection, will pay a visit to the St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.
